This pendant carries the warmth of coral reefs and the sculptural elegance of seashells meeting silver. A natural pink coral cabochon rests in a free-formed sterling silver setting that curves and flows like the shell that inspired it. This piece began with the coral cabochon. Its soft blush pink reminded me of sunrise light on ocean water, so I built the setting to honour that warmth. The seashell form emerged intuitively as I worked the silver, each curve echoing the way shells cradle and protect. The free-formed metalwork creates a sculptural frame that feels alive, as though the silver grew around the stone rather than being imposed upon it. This is a meditation piece, a grounding tool, a wearable reminder of the ocean's gentle strength and enduring beauty.
