How Does It Work? - Custom Consult
Create something that’s entirely yours.
A custom commission is a one-of-a-kind piece made just for you—designed around your vision, your materials, your story. Whether it’s a memorial piece, a redesign of heirloom jewellery, or something entirely new, we’ll work together to create something meaningful, wearable, and built to last.
This complimentary consultation is where we explore what’s possible, talk through your ideas, and create a plan together.
What to Expect:
We’ll Talk About Your Vision
What are you imagining? Is there a specific stone, metal, or design element you’re drawn to? Do you have heirloom materials you’d like to incorporate? We’ll start with your ideas and build from there.
I’ll Share What’s Possible
Based on your vision, I’ll talk through design options, materials, techniques, and timelines. I’ll also show you examples of past commissions to give you a sense of what’s achievable.
We’ll Create a Plan
If we decide to move forward, I’ll create a detailed proposal including design sketches, materials, pricing, and timeline. You’ll have everything you need to make an informed decision.
No Pressure
This consultation is complimentary and there’s no obligation to commission a piece. It’s simply a conversation about what’s possible.
What I Create:
Memorial Jewelry
Pieces that honor and carry the memory of someone you love. I work with ashes, heirloom materials, and meaningful stones to create wearable memorials that feel grounding and sacred.
Heirloom Redesigns
Transforming inherited jewelry into something you’ll actually wear. I can incorporate stones, metals, and sentimental elements from pieces that no longer serve you.
Bespoke Designs
One-of-a-kind rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, hat bands, belts, encaustic art. Anything is possible and designed around your vision, your story, and your aesthetic.
The Process:
1. Consultation (Complimentary)
We talk through your vision, materials, and timeline. This can be in person or virtual.
2. Proposal & Sketches
I create a detailed proposal with design sketches, materials list, pricing, and timeline.
3. Approval & Deposit
Once you approve the design, a 50% deposit secures your spot in my production schedule. The remaining 50% will be paid before production begins.
4. Creation
I build your piece by hand, keeping you updated throughout the process. Most commissioned pieces take 4–8 weeks, depending on complexity and materials.
5. Final Approval & Delivery
Once complete, I'll send you photos for final approval and arrange for pickup or delivery.
